Back from Bedford, NY!

The Smiffenpoofs had a wonderful time performing at the 3rd Annual St. Matthew’s College Jamboree! The Whiffs, Bacchantaes, and Tigertones all sounded amazing and we were so honored to sing next to them.

The Smiffenpoofs have new babies!

Congratulations to Anna Steckel, Alyssa Veil and Claire Delzell! We are so excited they have joined our musical family and we can’t wait for everyone to hear their B-E-A-U-T-iful voices!

Special shout out to Lauren (Lolo) Gilbert who chalked magnificently all over campus about our auditions last week!

Arch Sing: TONIGHT at 7:30pm in the Carroll Room of the CC at Smith College.

Auditions:
Monday: 6-8pm in Wilder
Tuesday: 8:30-10:30pm
Wednesday: CALLBACKS from 4:30-6:30 in Talbot Basement

Oct. 6th: The 3rd Annual St. Mathew’s College Jamboree at 5pm at St. Mathew’s Church in Bedford, NY.

‘Poofs Unite!

The Smiffenpoofs had a marvelous time singing for our wonderful Smith alums during reunion week. We loved meeting everyone (including a woman from the class of 1932. Can you believe she graduated four years before the ‘Poofs even existed?) We especially enjoyed catching up with our own ‘Poof alums who sang “Softly” and “Manhattan” better than ever!

Congratulations! We hope to see you all in another five years!

Spring Jam!

Hola, mis guapos amigos,

Our Spring Jam theme has been decided, location confirmed, and guest group invited! The final big performance of our 75th year is going to be a landmark occasion, a live-recorded show on April 20th, and featuring the University of New Hampshire Gentlemen! If you’re on Smith campus, look out for our mysterious mystery unfolding over the next three weeks, and see if you can guess where the concert will be…. We can’t wait to see you there!

I know the blog hasn’t been updated in far too long, but there was just so much singin’ goin’ on that we couldn’t take a break!

This month, the Poofs were featured in a music video for the phenomenal band, Fifth Nation! Check it out! 

Next weekend we’ll be heading to Bradford, NH, to the hometown of one of our senior members, Elizabeth. We can’t wait to be back in the Brad, chillin’ with the UNH Gents and bringin’ it all back home.
